Where I Come From

As a certified life coach, I look forward to getting to know you. In the spirit of reciprocation and fostering diversity in coaching, here's a little peek into my world of personal development.

About Me - Life Coaching Journey

My Background and Values

I was born and raised in the Bay Area, and I love to tell people that this is truly the best place to be! Throughout my life, I've sought helping careers—first in customer service and eventually for decades in healthcare. As a certified life coach, I have found my calling in coaching. I have a strong desire to reflect people's best selves back at them and to support their personal development.

I believe in equity and in lifting up individuals who are often overlooked, under-promoted, and over-judged. The need for diversity in coaching is crucial, as I feel that valuable coaching techniques are not often extended to those from marginalized backgrounds. I don’t think it has to be this way.

As a queer non-binary human, I believe in a person's ability to create the life that works best for them—and I am curious about what that looks like for you!

Professionalism and Experience

As a certified life coach and experienced mentor, I am here to guide you in taking the next steps toward your best direction. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to helping young physicians launch their careers in medicine. I draw from my experiences in that environment and utilize the tools I have gained from my coaching training to assist you in achieving your biggest goals through personal development.

My background includes creating leadership programs that emphasize diversity in coaching, particularly during my time at Stanford. I have also spoken nationally on the importance of equity, inclusion, and justice in medical education, a principle I believe applies across all fields.

Additionally, I have developed national mentoring programs and leadership curricula aimed at enhancing leadership and scholarship among educational administrators. I take pride in work that inspires us to reach our fullest potential.

The stuff that makes up life...

I currently live in the east bay with my family, an evil genius chihuahua mix, and a melancholy cat. As a certified life coach, I believe in the importance of diversity in coaching to foster personal development. I'm a big fan of weekend days for reading and drinking coffee, and I'm working on my first novel.
