Where I Come From

 I was born and raised in the Bay Area, and love to tell people that this is truly the best place to be! I've sought helping careers my entire life- first in customer service, and eventually for decades in healthcare. Coaching is where I have found my calling. I have a strong desire to help reflect people's best selves back at them, and to help people.

I believe in equity, and in lifting up folks that are often overlooked, under-promoted, and over-judged. I believe that coaching techniques are of value and not often offered to folks from marginalized backgrounds. I don't think it has to be this way. 

As a queer non-binary human, I believe in a person's ability to create the life that works best for them- and I am curious what that looks like for you!

As a certified life coach and experienced mentor, I can help you to take those next steps in your best direction. I have spent years helping young physicians begin their careers in medicine, and take what I've learned from that environment, and use the tools I have learned in coach training to help you move forward in your biggest goals. 

I have experience creating leadership programs that incorporate diversity concepts within my time at Stanford. I have also had experience speaking nationally about why equity, inclusion, and justice are imperative in medical education. I believe that is true in every field. 

I've created national mentoring programs, and leadership curricula to promote leadership and scholarship in educational administrators, and enjoy work that pushes us to be our most fulfilled.

I currently live in the east bay with my family, two evil genius chihuahua mixes, and a melancholy cat. I'm a big fan of weekend days for reading and drinking coffee, and I'm working on my first novel.
